Self shielded flux cored wire perfect for home DIY jobs where using gas isn’t practical or for outside applications where shielding gas would normally be blown away causing weld defects such as porosity.

With these types of wire producing their own shielding gas its highly advised to use respiratory protection equipment such as air fed welding masks or half face masks with H3 rated filters as the fume can be harmful if no protection is used.
