This airfed grinding helmet system is classified as equivalent to FFP3 and provides protection against Coronavirus. FFP3 provides a 20-points protection factor unlike an FFP2 disposable mask that offers 10-points protection.

FFP3 masks are currently being used in hospitals to protect medical staff treating patients with covid-19. The system also provides full face protection with the elasticated hood unlike a mask. The only requirement is that the system is sanitised after each use/shift.
